WEBSITES ON GRAMMAR

* Grammar Aquarium. Online exercises for all levels of ESO.
* BBC Learning English. Online exercises for "batxillerat".
* Online grammars. Reference tools for all levels.
* Grammar bytes. Nice website with clear grammar and syntax exercises.
* Grammar blast. Exercises for 1st cycle of ESO. Lots of things to understand sentence compositions.
* The Yellow Pencil. A lot of exercises with the explanation in Spanish for the first cycle of ESO.



WEBSITES ON VOCABULARY

* JClic. Learning English. Vocabulary exercises for students with "adaptació curricular". In the Àrea choose Llengües, select Anglès from the drop-down menu Idioma, and Secundaria from Nivell. Then click on Cerca.
* Click and learn. Vocabulary practice for 2nd cycle of ESO.
* Learn English Central, a website by the British Council which provides fun English language practice for everyone, but especially for teenagers and adult learners, through skills and theme-based activities.
* Learn English Kids, a website by the British Council which offers activities for children who are learning English as a second or foreign language. You will find many games, songs, stories, and lots of activities -and improve your English too!
* Blogglesworld provides printable jobs, worksheets and flashcards for students in 1st cylce of ESO.
* Mes-English provides lots of vocabulary worksheets for students with "adaptació curricular" or students of diversity.



WEBSITES ON READING AND WRITING

* Internet en el aula. It is a joint project of MEC and the autonomous communities. It is addressed mainly to primary students. The Flash animations tell a story.While the students read and listen, they consolidate vocabulary and grammar structures. The exercises are varied: match images, sounds and words, drag and drop, follow instructions or writing.
* What a statue is is a set of material that incorporates ICT into foreign language learning. It is aimed at the 2nd cycle of ESO, although it could easily be adapted for 2nd ESO as well. It gives learners an opportunity to learn about the world around them. The focus is not on the language itself but on the use of the language as a means to widen the cultural and personal background of the learners.
* In love with Shakespeare is a didactic unit for "batxillerat". It can be done as a whole or selecting some or the units and doing them on their own.
* Literacy works. All the resources presented in this practice are intended for thoseBatxillerat students who want to prepare for Selectivitat. They must get used to reading all kinds of texts, and basically, those taken from the news. They must also prepare for the Prova auditiva. Therefore, in most sites in this practice the students can train their reading skills, but also their listening.
